I love seafood and I love pasta! This dish has both. This is a quick and simple dish with just enough spice to knock your socks off! I promise my food porn will get better with time! - Nika
What you'll need:
1 pound fresh deveined shrimp
4 cloves garlic, chopped
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons olive oil
Angel Hair Pasta
Melt butter in a skillet and add olive oil. Add garlic and sautee for one to two minutes on medium heat.
Add Shrimp and one tablespoon cajun seasoning (I use seafood boil pictured below) and stir occasionally until cooked.
Squeeze the juice of two lemons over shrimp and simmer for another 2-4 minutes - the more lemon juice, the less "kick" of this dish. I also added lemon slices to ensure it'd be "kid friendly" when finished. Remove from heat and add fresh parsley for garnish.
Bring 4-6 quarts of water to boil on the stove - add salt to taste. Add Angel Hair and boil 8 minutes or until Al Dente. Drain and toss in 1/4 cup olive oil and parsley. Top Pasta with shrimp and enjoy!
