I've said before how much I love a good highlight and contour. During the summer I love a shimmery highlight. I prefer MAC's double definition during the summer, which was a limited edition release in 2013. Since we're heading into fall though, I was looking for something more matte and less flamboyant for the colder seasons. I picked up NYX's matte bronzer in "light" at Ulta for about $6.
I've given this bronzer about 3 weeks of consistent use before writing my review. I'd describe it as similar in formula to MAC's mineralized skin finish (for a fraction of the price). I've been able to use it in the same capacity - to set my concealer and create a seamless matte highlight over the cheek bone.
Its packaged in a cute compact. It's nothing too special, but it gets the job done. This is more of a powder than a bronzer, but for my purposes it gets a 10/10. It's long wearing (15 hours) and doesn't have a ton of fall out or chalkiness. Feel free to give this one a try ladies! For $6 you can't go wrong.
